In November of 2023, founder Karolina Kalset lost her father Hans Jørgen Kalset to complications following a decade long battle with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and alcoholism. His ability to create lasting friendships through engaging in vulnerable conversations inspired the mission and necessity for Fortitude, which now continues in his honor.
